This surface offers prevention, management and treatment of Stage I-IV pressure ulcers. It is clinically indicated for pressure redistribution and shear relief. The geometric cushion design ensures optimal patient/resident weight distribution. The surface is uniquely constructed in three different density gel zones for optimal pressure and shear relief of bony prominences. The thick gel centre core provides added comfort and no maintenance patient/resident protection. The foam base and crib ensure midline stability and lateral support. The non-powered design decreases the need for constant monitoring and maintenance and it also offers significant cost savings by reducing staffing needs and operating expenses. The easy care wipe down cover is non-allergenic, non-toxic, latex free, fluid and bacterial resistant, and fire proof. The surface supports patients weighing up to 500 lbs. and has a 3 year warranty on gel, 1 year on cover. TSS has a TPD licence to sell the product in Canada and the surface meets the major flammability Standards.
