Silverlon

Silverlon®'s advanced antimicrobial dressings are made with pure metallic silver, bonded to the sur face of the nylon substrate. This bonding prevents the shedding (dumping) of metallic silver or silver fi bers into the wound bed. The nylon substrate is highly conformable to wound contours and comfortable to patients.

In the presence of moisture, Silverlon® generates new silver ions (bacterialcidal) right at the wound site, unlike impregnated dressings where the silver ions are limited and trapped within the dressing.

Silverlon® Wound Contact Dressings are designed for 7 day use with any secondary dressing of choice, making it the most versatile and cost effective silver antimicrobial dressing available.
